Weight and size of the product
The weight and package dimensions you declare are the foundation of the charge. Meesho can dispute a declared weight that does not match the real parcel, so this is the one field you should always keep honest.

SnapSeller is an independent tool, not made by or affiliated with Meesho.
A Meesho low shipping image is the version of your front product photo that makes the supplier panel show the lowest shipping charge. Meesho does not publish exactly how the charge is worked out, but sellers see that the same product with the same weight can show different charges for different photos. A low shipping image tool finds that photo for you by measuring instead of guessing.
SnapSeller does this inside the Meesho supplier panel using your own session. It adds only a frame or border (and sometimes small badges) around your untouched product photo, uploads each version through the normal front-image control, and reads the charge Meesho returns.
The feature is part of the SnapSeller Meesho Lens extension, where the extension itself calls it Least Price Image.
The weight and package dimensions you declare are the foundation of the charge. Meesho can dispute a declared weight that does not match the real parcel, so this is the one field you should always keep honest.
Every category carries its own default shipping charge. The extension’s category data stores that default for each of Meesho’s sub-sub-categories, which is why two different products rarely start from the same number.
The panel also reacts to the photo you upload. In SnapSeller’s own measurements, identical products with identical weight have shown different charges for different photos. Meesho has not published the reason, so treat the photo as one more input to test, not as a rule you can predict.
Charges are set by Meesho. A better-tested photo only changes which version of your image the panel reads. Never declare a wrong weight to chase a lower charge, because it can lead to weight disputes and penalties.
Add the SnapSeller extension from the Chrome Web Store and sign in with your SnapSeller account.
Go to supplier.meesho.com, choose Add Single Catalog, pick the category and fill in the product details, including the real weight.
Add your normal front product photo. This is the image SnapSeller measures against, and it is always included in the comparison as the original.
Open the SnapSeller side panel and start the feature. SnapSeller creates up to 50 framed versions of your photo, uploads each one through the real front-image control and reads the shipping charge Meesho returns for it.
The extension keeps the image with the lowest charge and shows the original price, the final price and the saving. If no version beats your original, the original stays. A price report listing every tested image can be downloaded.
The first full run can take a few minutes because every version is checked one after another against Meesho. Keep the supplier panel tab open until the result card appears.
Remove empty space so the product fills the frame. A tight crop also helps the product read clearly in the listing.
A clean, even background keeps attention on the product and avoids confusing the panel with unrelated objects.
Leave out props, extra items and packaging that are not part of what the buyer receives.
Use a sharp, well-lit front view for the first image. Put angles and detail shots in the later gallery slots.
Planning a price as well? Run the numbers in the Meesho profit calculator once you know the charge.
A heavier declared weight raises the charge and does not protect you from anything. Declare the real packed weight.
Showing several items as the main image of a single product misrepresents what is sold and can change how the listing is read.
The category sets the starting shipping charge. A wrong category can raise the charge and lead to a rejected or penalised listing.
Meesho works out the charge from the product details and the images you upload, and it does not publish the exact method. In SnapSeller’s measurements a different photo of the same product, with the same weight, has shown a different charge in the supplier panel. Your declared weight and category still matter most.
Yes. The feature is part of SnapSeller’s Complete Enterprise access, which is free until 8 November 2026 with no credit card needed. Fair usage applies, and regular plans begin on 9 November 2026.
It helps you pick the photo that shows the lowest charge in your supplier panel. Final charges are decided by Meesho based on the real product, so always declare the correct weight.
Choosing a clearer, better-framed photo is normal listing practice. Declaring a wrong weight or size is not, and it can lead to weight disputes and deductions. SnapSeller never changes your declared weight, but Meesho’s rules are its own, so read its current supplier guidelines.
Yes, for this feature. To create the framed versions, the photo you choose is sent to SnapSeller’s signed-in image service, and each version is then uploaded to your own Meesho supplier panel to read its charge. SnapSeller’s Privacy Policy says images uploaded to signed-in features are regularly purged from its servers. The free label crop tools work differently: they run in your browser and never upload your files.
Install the extension, upload your front image in the supplier panel and let SnapSeller measure the versions for you. Always check the final image and the charge before you submit.
